We are pleased to have been presented a Scroll from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for developing and operating a family based, child focused, Visitation Center in the City of Torrance.

A Visitation Center is a place where birth parents can have supervised visitation with their children that are placed in foster care, in a setting that is conducive to parent/child interaction.
Now, instead of supervised visits taking place in DCFS offices or at fast food restaurants...
Our foster children can visit with their parents in a warm and nurturing environment such as a church, parsonage or business that is designed for comfortable, frequent and quality visitation.
Visitation is the #1 Factor to Reunification.
The South Bay Center for Counseling, the Faith Community, Seaside Community Church and DCFS partnered to make the very first Visitation Center in Los Angeles County happen.
This was a demomstration project that involved grant funding and donations of time, training, space and people power by our partners.
This collaboration has resulted in a successful center for Visitation that other Los Angeles County Offices can duplicate to better serve children and families.
Visitation is the #1 Factor to Reunification
Currently, our first Visitation Center is located in Torrance.
We would like to develop additional Visitation Centers in the areas of need,
